Day One: God Desires to Speak to You
by David Shannon Wooten – January 7, 2018
God created us so we could have a relationship with Him. He desires to spend time with us, to have conversations with us. What an amazing opportunity for us to have access to the all-knowing, all-powerful Creator of the universe. God is the one who created prayer as the way for us to stay in relationship with Him. We may not have all the answers to our current situations or for our future concerns. However, our loving Father desires to speak to us about our unknowns. All we have to do is reach out to Him by praying. Your prayers can look like a conversation you would have with a close friend, parent, coach or pastor. God desires for you to call out to Him. He promises that He will speak back to you. You will hear His voice through His Word, in your thoughts, through encouraging songs and messages. Whatever God says to you, it will change your life.
Jeremiah 33:3(NIV) “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”
“God desires to speak to you. He will share with you new things that will bring incredible insight to your life.” (Jeremiah 33:3)
